Who we are
This website is operated by the organising team of CSMUN 2026 ("we", "us"), a student-run Model United Nations conference. We are responsible for the personal data collected through this website.
What we collect
Account information: your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We never receive your Google password.
Application information: the details you enter in an application form, such as your phone number, school, grade, committee preferences, experience and motivation. Partnership applications include organisation and contact details.
Technical information: a single essential cookie that keeps you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we use it
To create and secure your account and to confirm your email address.
To review applications, assign committees and countries, and organise the conference.
To contact you about your application and the event.
Who can see it
Only members of the organising team with admin access can see applications. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties, except service providers that are necessary to run the website (for example, sending emails) and where required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep account and application data for up to one year after the conference, then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Participants under 18
If you are under 18, please make sure a parent or guardian knows that you are applying and agrees to you sharing this information with us.
Your rights
Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law No. 6698) and similar laws, you can ask us whether we process your data, request a copy, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to its processing. To do so, email us at dumanyaman109@gmail.com.
